Lemon Balm & Lavender Tom Collins

A Lavender Collins is a delightful and refreshing cocktail that features the aromatic and floral notes of lavender. It's a twist on the classic Tom Collins, enhanced with the soothing essence of lavender.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Lavender simple syrup (see below for instructions)
  • 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • Soda water
  • Lemon wheel or lavender sprig for garnish


Instructions for Lavender Collins:
In a highball glass, add the gin, lavender simple syrup, and fresh lemon juice.
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Stir the mixture gently to combine the ingredients.
Top off the glass with soda water, filling it to your desired level of dilution and effervescence.
Garnish your Lavender Collins with a lemon wheel or a fresh lavender sprig.
Serve with a straw and enjoy your refreshing and aromatic Lavender Collins!

 

Lavender Simple Syrup:

To prepare the lavender simple syrup, you'll need:

  • Boozy Botanist Lavender Simple Syrup Mix
  • 1.5 cup hot water

Instructions for Lavender Simple Syrup:

In a saucepan, combine water and Boozy Botanist Simple Syrup Mix. 
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally to ensure the sugar dissolves.
Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup steep for another 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
Strain out the plant matter.
Allow the lavender simple syrup to cool before using it in your cocktail.
